Obtained from the seeds of Prunus amygdalus, sweet almond oil is renowned for its richness in essential fatty acids and vitamins A and E. Soothing, nourishing and softening, it is ideal for dry, sensitive or irritated skin - including babies' skin.

It can be massaged into the skin to relieve tightness, prevent stretch marks or soothe redness. It's also perfect as a hair treatment to restore softness and shine to dry or frizzy hair.

    Botanical family: Rosaceae
    Origin: Spain
    Production method: cold pressing of almonds
    Appearance: oily liquid

Composition

Sweet almond oil is rich in vitamin A, vitamin E, B and D, minerals, proteins, unsaturated fatty acids (omega 6 and 9).

        Fatty acids :
        linoleic acid: 7 to 30%.
        oleic acid: 62 to 86
        palmitic acid: 4 to 9%.
        stearic acid: ≤ 3.5%.

Uses

In cosmetics:

    On the skin, very fluid, it penetrates very well and does not leave a greasy sensation.
    Edible
    As a hair mask, leave on for 30 minutes
