This plant is native to South East Asia. The name "Patchouli" is said to have originated in the 19th century from the Tamil words patch, meaning green, and ilai, meaning leaves. Its fragrance is bewitching, it is a woody, warm, pleasant but powerful smell.

Do not use on infants and children under 6 years old. Not to be used during pregnancy or while breastfeeding, except for diffusion. Contraindicated in the case of hormone-dependent cancerous pathologies.
