Do you deliver internationally?

Yes, we deliver worldwide, subject to the regulations in force in the destination country. You may be required to pay customs duties.

What are the shipping times?

Packages are prepared on the day of the order, or the next day at the latest.

Average delivery times*:

France :

LA POSTE tracked letter: 2 to 3 working days after dispatch Colissimo home delivery or collection point: 2 working days after dispatch Mondial Relay: between 3 and 6 working days after dispatch

Europe (United Kingdom and Switzerland)

Delivengo: maximum 10 working days after dispatch, available for parcels weighing less than 2 kg.

Colissimo Europe: between 4 and 6 working days after dispatch.

Rest of the world: 6 to 12 working days, depending on the destination country. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions regarding your order or delivery times. *Average delivery times are provided for information purposes only and may vary for various reasons (carrier delays, customs, etc.).

How can I track my order?

You will be notified by email when your order has been shipped, and you can track it directly by logging into your customer account. But don't worry, you will receive regular emails and text messages about the delivery or collection of your parcel: arrival date and collection code depending on the carrier you have chosen. 

How much will it cost to deliver my parcel?

The delivery cost for your parcel varies depending on its weight and delivery location. The costs are calculated when you place your order. You will be offered a choice of carriers and delivery rates when you place your order. You can choose the delivery method that best suits your needs.

For all orders over €50, delivery to a collection point is free in France.

Do I have to pay customs duties for international deliveries?

You may be asked to pay customs duties when your parcel arrives in the destination country. These vary depending on the total amount of your order and international agreements established with France.

Are the products well protected during transport?

Yes. The bottles are carefully packaged to prevent breakage or damage. What should I do if there is a problem upon receipt? If, upon delivery, you notice that your parcel has been damaged during transport, we invite you to make a complaint to the carrier or refuse the parcel. We cannot be held responsible.

In the event of an error in the preparation of your order, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can find a suitable solution.

Use & Safety

How can I use essential oils safely?

Essential oils are concentrated extracts. They must be used with caution, following the recommendations for use and appropriate dosages. It is important to consult a health professional for any therapeutic use.

Can your essential oils be applied neat to the skin?

No, essential oils should never be used neat. They must be diluted using various carriers (oils, water + dispersant, fatty substances, etc.). Some oils can be dermocaustic or irritating.

How should essential oils be stored?

Store away from light, heat and air, in its original tightly closed bottle. How should I store my hydrosol and how long can I use it after opening?

All our hydrosols are 100% pure and natural (no preservatives added). We recommend storing them in a cool place, ideally in the refrigerator, or in a dry place away from light and any source of heat exceeding 18°C. Use quickly after opening.

Comment se conserve mon hydrolat et combien de temps puis-je l'utiliser après ouverture ?

Tous nos hydrolats sont 100% pur et naturel (sans ajout de conservateurs), nous vous conseillons de les conserver au frais, idéalement au réfrigérateur, ou dans un endroit sec à l'abri de la lumière et de toute source de chaleur ne dépassant pas les 18°C.

Are your products tested on animals?

No. We do not carry out any tests on animals.

Do your products contain GMOs?

What is special about Vent des Arômes essential oils?

Our essential oils are sourced from specific crops and varietal selections. Some are produced in very small quantities, sometimes unique. Each batch is distilled with particular attention paid to olfactory finesse and chemical integrity.

Do you carry out analyses?

Yes. Each batch is analysed (GC chromatography & Pest analyses) to verify its composition, purity and compliance. Chromatographic profiles may show natural variations related to climate, soil and harvest year

Why are some oils available in limited quantities?

We work with specific, sometimes experimental, agricultural production methods. Yields can be low and vary depending on natural conditions. We prioritise quality over quantity.

Are your oils rectified or modified?

No. Our essential oils are pure and unrectified. We do not artificially modify their composition

Why can the scent vary from one batch to another?

Plants are living organisms. The terroir, weather and various underlying factors naturally influence their aromatic profile. This variability is a marker of authenticity.

Do you use chemicals in the manufacture of your oils? No, we never use synthetic chemicals, either in the fields or during the various stages of extraction

Qualité & Fabrication

Quelle est la particularité des huiles essentielles Vent des Arômes ?

Nos huiles essentielles sont issues de cultures et de sélections variétales spécifiques. Certaines sont produites en très petites quantités, parfois uniques. Chaque lot est distillé avec une attention particulière portée à la finesse olfactive et à l’intégrité chimique.

Réalisez-vous des analyses ?

Oui. Chaque lot est analysé (chromatographie GC, & analyses Pest) afin de vérifier sa composition, sa pureté et sa conformité. Les profils chromatographiques peuvent présenter des variations naturelles liées au climat, au sol et à l’année de récolte.

Pourquoi certaines huiles sont-elles disponibles en quantité limitée ?

Nous travaillons avec des productions agricoles spécifiques, parfois expérimentales. Les rendements peuvent être faibles et varient selon les conditions naturelles. Nous privilégions la qualité à la quantité.

Vos huiles sont-elles rectifiées ou modifiées ?

Non. Nos huiles essentielles sont pures et non rectifiées. Nous ne modifions pas artificiellement leur composition.

Pourquoi l’odeur peut-elle varier d’un lot à l’autre ?

La plante est un organisme vivant. Le terroir, la météo et différents facteurs sous-jacents, influencent naturellement son profil aromatique. Cette variabilité est un marqueur d’authenticité.

Utilisez-vous des produits chimiques dans la fabrication des huiles ?

Non, aussi bien dans les champs, que lors des différentes étapes d'extraction, nous n'utilisons jamais de produits chimiques de synthèse.

Agriculture & Origin

Where are your plants grown?

Our crops are mainly located in western France. Part of our production comes from our estate in Vendée, but we also work with aromatic plant producers in Deux-Sèvres, Charente Maritime, Maine et Loire, and elsewhere.

Do you practise organic farming?

Yes, we only offer organic products. We are committed to respecting living organisms and do not wish to use synthetic products.

Why develop rare or underused varieties?

We are searching for the ultimate scent! But that's not all: we are also interested in finding rare plant molecules that may be useful in various fields (medicine, cosmetics, food, etc.).

What is the difference between oils from the estate and oils from elsewhere?

Essential oils labelled as essential oils from the estate have all been distilled by us on the estate.

Essential oils that we label as from elsewhere have all been carefully sourced and checked by us, but are not manufactured by us.

What is the difference between the AB and Cosmos Bio labels?

The difference between these two labels is very simple: when the AB label is displayed on a product, it means that your product is food.

Products bearing the Cosmos Bio logo are intended for cosmetic use only. In both cases, the products are organically farmed.

Why don't you communicate more?

First and foremost, we are a small team, and we have chosen to focus our efforts and resources on agronomic and extractive research (plant chemistry). We prioritise in-depth work, the search for the best quality products and direct relationships with our customers.
