Calophylla, also known as Tamanu oil, is a vegetable oil renowned for its many benefits. Extracted from the nuts of the Calophylla Inophylla plant, this oil is prized for its healing, anti-inflammatory and regenerative properties. It is frequently used in skin care to help heal scars, soothe skin irritations and provide deep nourishment. Calophylla oil is also renowned for its anti-ageing properties, helping to prevent premature skin ageing. An ideal base for preparing massage oils to combat the sensation of heavy legs!

    Appearance: thick oily liquid, sets at low temperature

Composition

Calophylla oil is rich in oleic acid (Omega 9 MUFA) & linoleic acid (Omega 6 PUFA).

    Fatty acid :
        oleic acid (omega 9 MUFA): 30 to 55
        linoleic acid (omega 6 PUFA): 17 to 39
        palmitic acid (SFA): 12 to 20
        stearic acid (SFA): 8 to 18%.

Uses

    Cosmetics
    In food,
    On the skin,
    As a hair mask, leave on for 30 minutes.
